Talking Picked up my 627 -5 today!!!

Finally, got it, she is a beauty and the action is super slick, DA is the smoothest I have felt on any gun without 1000's of rounds through it. The single action is almost a 'think' trigger, you think about it and it goes, crisp light beautiful!!

$750 was well worth it now that the gun is in hand!

I will get up some pictures and maybe a Range report if I can slip over to my parents farm this afternoon!

Only downer I can find on the whole thing is the MADE IN CHINA sticker on the Performance Center Case
SURELY someone could make these in the states??

Well, at least the Chinese are importing our American raw materials to make the case!

My wife loves her Model 627-5. I worry that she would leave me for it if it could provide a steady income...

You bought yours for a great price, enjoy!

Shooting the gun yesterday was wonderful!

It shoots 158's best so far, put a whole cylinder full right at 2" at 20 yards, but that is with me at the helm! This is going to become a permanent fixture in my hand/home, and that is saying something for me

I am going to call up Galco and custom order one of these in the next week or so
WHEELGUNNER BELT HOLSTER
for a 5", unless ya'll think I should just live with the 4" holster and let it hang out a bit????????
It costs $50 more to get the extra inch

Other suggestions for a holster that rides high, cylinder above the belt???

Leather gun holster, concealed carry holster - Simply Rugged Holsters? - Proudly made in the USA

I have a sourdough pancake for my Performance Center 327 M&P R8 and it is a fine holster. They run about 60 bucks and are far better then anything from any of the large holster makers. When it comes to Smith revolver holsters, simply rugged is where it is at...

Default Model 627 holster

I purchased a desantis holster from Smith and Wesson, it has to performance center logo on it. I have been real pleased with it, but I agree with Steve simply rugged is very hard to beat.
