Default Spegel's boot grips

Howdy all,

Just acquired a new 642 that needs new shoes. Interested in Spegel's boot grips. My question is did you order from Craig or go through another vendor?

I ordered my grips direct. It took awhile to get them but worth it. Here is his web site, there is some links to people that sell his grips. Don

I have purchased from one of Spegel's vendors, Lightning Arms Sports --- they seem to have a decent inventory, reasonable prices, can email quality images of their inventory, and are very nice folks, to boot. I have a mounted set (never used or carried) of uncheckered Macassar Ebony grips for sale in the classifieds, FYI...

I'd order diectly from Craig if it were me..
Buying direct will save you alot of money too..
If he's not tooling up for that style it may take a while but he will tell you how long to expect..
He's realy a great guy a makes the best boot grips on the market..

I've bought diectly from Craig & also bought from forum members who were selling their grips, The best looking set came directly from Craig.

The BTS+ set seem to glow & the pictures can't do justice to how good they actualy look..

I would second that. The other vendors are good folks but the price is much higher than ordering direct. Guess it depends on how soon you have to have them. Here is a STANDARD grade checkered I ordered direct. The photo doesn't do it justice.

w8lifter:

FWIW, I got mine through Lightning Arms Sports and I think that the price was quite fair and the grips arrived a few days after I placed the order. Great customer service, imho.

I recently checked the Novak website & also emailed Lightning Sports regarding Spegel j-frame boot grips-- turns out at both places the price for Spegels start at $225 and go up from there. Higher grade or not, I was a bit sticker-shocked esp considering that Spegel's webpage prices start at about $60 . Maybe he only sends them the high-grade products, and if you want shooter-grade you have to order from him and wait.
