I like 3" K frame guns
Here is a couple of family pictures of my S&W 3" K frame guns. The top left gun is my model 65-5. Top right is a 10-8 in 38 special with factory target grips that match what the original box has marked on it. The middle left is a nickel 13-2 and the middle right is a 13-4. The bottom two guns are both 13-3's. I need to find a blued 13-2 and a nickel 13-3 and 13-4 to add to this set.

Don't you need a 10-9 tapered barrel?

I likey, I only have one 3" its a 65-5 Ladysmith with a bobbed hammer, just ordered a new El Paso Saddlery leather holster for it, I am going to start carrying it once I receive the holster. If I cant get the job done with six hollow points, then I need to spend more time at the range.

3" K-frames ??? Really ? Yuck !!! Why in the world would you like those outdated, obsolete old things ?!
Just kidding. "3 inchers" are my all-time favorites. Congratulations, you have a very nice collection. Now I know where all the good ones are.
I second what someone else said......you need a good Model 64, 3" to add to those.

It is very cool to see the stainless finish compared to the nickel finish.

Please list me in your will for some of those K frame 3" guns!
Here is my 65-5 from the early 1980's.

Yeah, I think that's the most 3" k frames I've seen in one collection. And the nicest!!!!
Those thicker grips on the top right and bottom left are really nice too.

I sold my 3" 547, but I have a 3" 66-3 that I pick up this Friday. Wouldn't mind a M65 Ladysmith, though.

That is one heck of a collection!
I need a few more. But, I don't think I could ever part with my 3" 65-3.

If you are only going to have 2 3" Ks, you definitely have the cream of the crop! Very nice! That 13PC is a grail gun for many. I would love to have one.
My 65 Lady Smith is as close as I am going to get for now.

I'm limited to just two. A M65-3 3" and a rather unusual M&P 3" tapered that according to Roy, has a ship-date of 1958. Need to get it lettered one day.
Both shoot/carry great.

I only have one, a M 65-5 ladysmith that I lucked into late last year. It's a joy to shoot with any 38 special and most .357 Magnum ammo. As well it's much more accurate than I am.
Question: this 3" K frame feels much heavier then either my 2 1/2" M-19 or M-66. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

No wonder they're so hard to come by, scout II has them all!
I didn't get the big deal till I acquired a 3" M-64 a couple months back. It is a very handy barrel length.

All of my 3 inch S&Ws are N frames. Several of my Colt Detective Specials are 3 inch guns and I own two Colt single action army guns with 3 inch barrels. SO! I guess I really like them.

What an outstanding group of revolvers. Love the 3" K Frame, but I only have one. Anyone know anything about the smooth RB stocks on the third from top left and very bottom left? My 13-4 3" has them. Were they shipped from the factory? When I received the revolver, it had some very attractive plain white plastic stocks, and the smooth S&W stocks were in the box.

If anyone's interested, Cabelas in Thornton, CO has a 3" model 10 RB that's nickel plated in their Gun Library. At $699.99 I think the price is a bit steep.
