Default Speedloaders for 7 RD .357?

Hi,

Planning on purchasing a Model 386 NG L-frame 7 shot .357. Is HKS the only manufacturer of speed-loaders for these revolvers? I've hear that they are a bit flimsy, basically taking a 6 shot speed-loader and squeezing in the 7th round. Take a look at his close up and you can see Thanks

HKS speedloaders work fine for me. It is necessary that the material between bullets, on the 7-shot version, be thin. There isn't much room between bullets on a 7-shot L-frame cylinder.

Don't drop the HKS speed loaders on concrete floor, they crack very easy where the walls are thin. I know I have cracked a few of them.

Default Maxfire Speedloader

Brownell's carries the Maxfire, speedloader for for a 686+. $15.00 for a pair of them. I have a couple and you could run over it with a truck and it probably would not hurt the loader.

I just got a couple of N-Frame 8-shots from 5 Star Firearms. Quality seems real good.

Speed Loaders

EDIT TO ADD:

Nevermind. I assumed since they had 8-shot (which are really hard to find) that they would have L-Frame 7-shots, but I don't see any.

But if anyone is looking for 8-shot, check out the link. At $25 they are a lot cheaper than the Thunder Ranch models.

Thanks anyway, those really do look nice. I wonder why no 7-shot. I figured they were more common than 8 shot.
