Recommended CC holsters for 2.5 686+?
Hi,
Can I get some recommendations for good concealable holsters for the 2.5" 686+? Something that holds tight to the body with an FBI cant that will work well with a double layered 1.5" belt. Obviously, I will carry mostly OWB but I may be open to a good IWB holster also (if they exist), since I have some over-sized pants.
Thanks

Holster
I use Kramer and Haugen holsters. Kramer #7 on the left with 1 3/4" loops and Haugen #M11 on the right with 1 1/2" loops.

Very Nice!!! Is there one you prefer over the other for CC? I notice that the Kramer doesn't cover the cylinder or trigger completely. Is that normal?
Thanks

I like the retention of the Kramer just a little bit better but the Haugen is made of better leather IMO. As far as the lack of coverage, it is for a 2" snubby with the 686 being 2.5". It has never bothered me as it still covers the trigger. Besides, their is something a bit manacing about showing part of the cylinder.

I've asked the same question. They say it only works with the 6-shot. Hopefully if enough people bug them they will offer a 7-shot version.

Here is the email response I got:
We do not have a 7 round to test the fit, but there are a few customers
who have tried it and says it works. You're welcome to try it under our
30 day guarantee and, if it doesn't work, send it back for a refund.
Thanks,
Jenn K.

Wow, that is not the response I got!

Ariel,
The 686 model that we offer will only accommodate the 6-shot revolvers. There is just enough of a difference between the 6 and 7 shots that it prevents the 7-shot from fitting. Sorry we can't help you out at the moment. You may want to try Blade Tech to see if they have anything that will fit your revolver? Thanks and have a great day!

Can anyone confirm that the C-TAC works with the 686+?
