Default Picture request mod 64/65

Hi,

I should be collecting a model 64-5, 4", square butt in some time. It has a pachmayr grip, which is quite damaged. I have a spare set of original S&W target stocks (like often found on older model 19, 6 and 4 inch), and would like to see what that combination looks like.

Does any one have a picture of that combo ? Any other suggestion is more than welcome of course. I am sure you have your favorites :-)

To be complete, I plan to polish it to be shiny.

Thanks to all - B686

Dont have any K frames but having owned many over the years I can say you're on the right track and they polish up to look like nickel. Let us know what she looks like when you're done, fixing up and personalizing your Smith.

I totally do not get polishing stainless guns shiny. Looks gaudy to me.

But to each his own.
