The 4” model comes with a .296” height front sight from the factory. I wouldn’t go any shorter. I can only speak to the HiViz sight - HiViz is a decent sight and the one for the 4” barrel with compensator is model SW1002 but you’ll have to drill the pin holes in base or take it to your gunsmith for the work. It’s not hard drilling the holes but you have to make sure you do it right the 1st time. That particular model is a replacement for the factory sight. I would also recommend purchasing or making 2 steel replacement pins for that front sight, as when you punch out those pins you’ll find they are roll pins and they may not work for you when trying to replace them. I think Midway handles the all steel pins for about $2 per pin – well worth it if you change sights back & forth.
