Default 1994 time machine, 686-4 2 1/2" NIB

Found this on Armslist. There are still a few NIB revolvers out there. But not for long, I intend on firing it. Especially like the original price tag that came with it.

I certainly hope you didn't pay much more than what's on the price tag!

Nice score!

Inflation calculator says $323 in 1994 is equivalent to $523 today.

It should sell for more than that. Showing an investment in S&W L-frames beats inflation.

Let me know what you pay, and I can tell you the rate of return. I wonder if it beats the S&P 500 over the same time frame.

That's an annual rate of return of about 3.5%

The S&P 500 was about twice that over the same time period.

But so what. I've wasted a lot of money on stupid stuff, money I'll never see again.

But buying S&W revolvers wasn't a bad move. Better than money in the bank.
