Default how much is a 65-4 worth

I started this before my power went out , but I can not find it. A friend wants to sell her 65-4 4inch barrel, because it is t heavy. I looked over the gun and it appears to have very little use. Is there rules or procedure to check a used gun. I have no idea how much the gun is worth. Any suggestions.

Welcome to the forum!

Condition: I could write for a long time and still not do justice to the topic, which is why I suggest you do a search on the forum as there are many threads that address this.

Price: I'd say to join gunbroker, go to 'closed auctions', and search on ones that ACTUALLY SOLD to see what they went for. Again, you can go to the 'for sale' category on this forum and do a search as well.

Good luck!

Again, welcome to the forum.

There are only a couple of K frame .357's on there right now, and they look pretty beat up, and they are also overpriced. I bought an extremely mint model 13-1 there a few months ago for $380. For a nice 65 in 4", my MAX would be $450.
