Default Need a side plate for S&W 15-7. 15-x fit?

Would side plate from other models work?
would a side plate from model 10 or 14, fit?

I have in my possession a 15-7 with an incorrect side-plate. Looks like an L-Frame. Need to fix.

This isn't any good without pictures Sir, you may have the right one but need to know how to make it fit.
