3" Model 10 help

I found a S&W model 10-8 with 3" barrel that is new in the box with all the goodies.What do you think it is worth?It has the S&W logo on the left side and has a pinned barrel.

Pawn shop had one a while back that was 98% in the box with papers and they wanted $599. Tried to do some trading but we could not work a deal. Nice guns that I don't see often.

These are very popular right now; don't recall any recent sales of one NIB but $450-500 seems about right. $599 does seem a bit much .

I like that barrel length with a round butt. I have one model 10 and two 64s. That is a bit steep, not ungodly (especially for California) but a bit steep. Still, if it is exactly what you want and is really, really clean.....

They are worth exactly what somebody is willing to pay for it.

I think the S&W Model 10s are really great handguns. Thy are accurate, & fun to shoot.
