Some very nice guns are coming up for sale
I hope it is ok to make an announcement. Many of you will recall the loss of our son, Elijah, in Afghanistan last December. Since then my wife has lost her job and life has been a bit rough all around for us as a result. I am beginning to let go of a number of my cherished revolvers, 1911's, and lever rifles. Three or four at a time, beginning now on GB. A search for seller ZWolfgang on GB will bring you to the guns I am offering. Thank you for your interest. There are going to be some really desireable guns in cherry condition coming up. A few are there now. Thank you.

Dear DHart & Family,
The battles that you are fighting are very tough ones indeed. It deeply saddens me to hear of the loss of your wife's job and the disposal of your collection. Although words may never adequately express the sympathy for the loss of your son I have in my possession a copy of a letter sent to my wife's family from President Roosevelt following the death of her uncle during WWII. Upon my initial reading of the letter I realized how impotent most offerings of condolences really are. I hope the below quote may be of some comfort to you and your family:
"HE STANDS IN THE UNBROKEN LINE OF PATRIOTS WHO
HAVE DARED TO DIE THAT FREEDOM MIGHT LIVE, AND
GROW AND INCREASE ITS BLESSINGS. FREEDOM LIVES,
AND THROUGH IT, HE LIVES – IN A WAY THAT HUMBLES
THE UNDERTAKINGS OF MOST MEN."

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them."
"For The Fallen", Laurence Binyon
From this day, until I no longer live, I will remember your son.

DHart, my son is at Ft. Hood preparing to deploy to Iraq. To quote Abraham Lincoln, "May our Heavenly Father assuage the pain that you must feel, having laid so costly a sacrifice on the altar of freedom". God bless you and your family. A long time ago, I used to thing that my guns were my treasures, but they are trash in comparison beside my Bible. I will pray for God's soothing balm of grace to help you and those you cherish through these trying times. I know that this not a forum for preaching, and I am not a preacher, but I have seen some pretty awsome outpouring of care shown to people who were strangers, and at the same time brothers & sisters.

DHart:
I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of your son and the loss of your wife's job. I have a step-son in Iraq (for the second time) and I understand the concern and pain. You are in our prayers, and if I can find the coin, I may make a bid or two.

Mr. Hart, My wife lost a son and I a stepson in June of 2002. There are no words to describe the journey you and your wife are on nor are there words to convey what you are going though. God Bless

I am so sorry to hear of your sorrows. May the Lord fill you with strength and may you find peace with your burdens and heartache. The day will come when you will get more guns and a bright morning will dawn one day when you will be reunited with your son.

WOW.... I didn't really mean for this to focus on our loss so much, but in hindsight, I guess how could it not. The emotions run strong when I read the incredible words from all of you amazing people. The richness of humanity embodied by the members of this forum is enough to bring tears. All I can say is thank you all so very much!!!! (Group hug? )
I mostly really just wanted to alert you all who might be interested in some of these guns. I seriously wanted to set prices and just offer them here to you members, but in all honesty, if I might be able to earn more for them through auction, I really needed to do it that way. And I don't know for sure what many of them are worth today, so I guess an auction is the best ways to determine that. I hope you will understand, because my first inclination was to bring them to this forum.

There is not greater loss than that of losing a child. Those of us that have, live each day with a sorrow that is hard to comprehend. We wish strength for your family to keep his memory alive. Our children are never truly gone, and they watch over us and help us in difficult times.
We know that God is caring for him, and giving strength to you and your family every day.

Mr. Hart and family.
As a member of The Patriot Guard, I have seen families of fallen hero's more time than I like to remember. No amount of words can express the sorrow you feel at you loss.
I am truly grateful for your son's service.
In the words of General S George Patton:
It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
