Default S&W Model 19-1 4" DAO

I saw this in the used gun counter @ Hoffman's in CT - S&W Model 19-1 4" 357 Mag DAO - The store owner said it was a
Police Comp Revolver with a factory bobbed hammer....................... The action was as smooth as butter!

I could not find any info using the search feature.

Please help me identify this revolver.

Well I took a quick look through the SCSW but I did not see anything. Sorry but maybe someone else knows something.

Many, many department guns were converted to DAO after leaving the factory as a standard gun.
