I recently had a model 625 pinto, and was asking about it here, someone gave me a number at S&W to call, I did, and they gave me full info on it right there on the phone. I was amazed and happy. i don't have the number handy, but I assume it is the regular number for S&W. Give it a try. Good luck, Wallacem in Ga

149190 was cataloged in 2000, shortly after the Model 29 was discontinued as a production model by S&W. It is a 29-7 with a blue frame and barrel and stainless cylinder. S&W was using up the extra parts and this was an attempt to do that. The reverse, a 629 with a blue cylinder was also part of this program.
There were quite a few of these variations advertised for sale about ten years ago, but you don't see them much any more.

Thanks Bill!
I couldn't find my book to look them up. I've got a couple of them I got a few years ago, and I'm finally getting ready to do a little house cleaning.
