Pics added:Anyone heard anything about a Perf Cent SSR 686?
I recieved a trade offer / query about one of these.
I've looked around online and haven't been able to dig up much.
I do see a Pro Series SSR 686 but not a Performance Center version.
Any info? Ideas?
Thank you

These are the pics he sent.
I don't see that this gun is a Pro Series model much less a Performace Center model.
Am I wrong?
I'm not trying to be a jerk...just trying to make an informed decision about a possible trade. I'm not real savvy of the current offerings....really just getting my feet wet.

The early SSR did not have pro series on them. That came later. Have not heard of a PC version.

Thanks for the info.
I need to determine the approx value of the pictured gun in order to come up with a trade & cash.
I would like to have a 4" 686 for my wife to regrip and use for HD.

SSR
Does he have both sets of grips? They also came with wood SSR grips. They are a very nice revolver. I would say if he has everything that it came with that it is worth around $650 max down to $600.00 I only paid $670.00 for mine new.

I believe he did say he had the other set of grips, too.
I do like the styling of the exposed extractor "window".
I think this one may be a little more used than I was hoping for.

They have only been out for a couple of years so I wouldn't think he could where it out yet. They weren't to much higher than a standard 686 4" but had the two grips, profile barrel, chamfered charge holes and supposed action improvements over the production guns.

The last price for Buds was 793 for the SSR pro model. I do not think there has been much premium for this model since it was aimed at the PPC/IDPA market. So I would put the price at 650 to 700 for a used gun with all the accessories, less if things were missing or there was obvious wear.

As others have said, it's just a standard 686SSR, one of the earlier ones before the Pro Series started. They are good guns, probably the only difference is the etched "Pro Series" on the frame of the newer ones. No PC versions of that gun have been produced as far as I know.
