Default 325 PD Titanium cylinder locked up

A friend of mine has a Smith & Wesson model 325 PD with a 4" barrel. He has fired about 400 rounds of his reloads and I they are loaded with 5.3 grains of Bullseye powder using a 200 grain bullet. The screws that are backing out are the cylinder latch screw which is causing the cylinder to lock up and the rear sight screw after about 50 rounds needs to be tighten up. Has any of you that owns on had the same problem. Thanks for any and all help.

If the cylinder won't release, check the ejector rod for tightness - and remember, it's a left-handed thread. It's not uncommon for them to be loose in a SS revolver - and the more violent recoil in an AirLite-Ti revolver when shooting heavier loads can aggravate the situation. Don't force it - in fact, if you have difficulty releasing the cylinder, call S&W (1-800-331-0852) and talk to a customer service rep - he'll forward you a pickup label and you can return it to S&W for no charge. It has a lifetime warranty. Don't worry - be honest - tell them you shoot homebrews.
