Default S&W 627 UDR (BLOODWORK) HOLSTER

There have been a few threads on the forum about holsters for the 627 UDR (Bloodwork) revolvers.
I have tried a few and I have found one that I like.
While it is made for the fluted cylinder, the unfluted fits really well.
It is a DeSantis Thumb break scabbard. I got the lined model
(you can get it unlined also). It is a right hand model.
If you are interested it is a model 001TC43ZO. I chose the tan model, and also comes in black.

That is really a good looking holster. Good photo work also. Been looking for a holster for my 627PC 2 & 5/8 UDC. Got Bullard making one at present. Went to the DeSantis web page & most of their left handed models are out of Stock. I'm a lefty. That thumb break is a good idea as well. How long did it take you to get your's from them? DeSantis has their "2nd Six" Speedloader pouches that fit the Star Speedloaders well. The model # is: A35TJUUZ0. I took out the 2 screws in the bottom & made them the "2nd Eight" instead. All the best.

Actually I ordered the holster from Optics Planet.
I like the thumb break also.
It took about 3 weeks to get it. Their price was around 60.00
with free shipping.
It was a little tight at first, and now it is fitting really well.
Thanks for the information on the speed loader leather, I will check
them out.

That DeSantis looks nice. I have two holster I generally use for my 2 5/8" N-frames and Colt 1917 (2.5".) I usually go for the cross-draw option.

Saguaro Gunleather (cross-draw)

Galco Phoenix (cross-draw or strong side)

and at time this Murph's Custom Leather one...
