Thumbs up I pulled the trigger.

Moving to the "Darkside".lol After inquiring and handling one, I got the Mdl 57. Not a Classic or collector, but one I can shoot the snot out of and carry during hunting season. A "Mountain Gun".
Feels like Christmas for me. Come on Santa Claus!!!!!!

Hmm...why does it say that the gun has been re-listed? Or does the seller have more than one? Also, the picture shows a 5" barrel, while the description lists a 4" barrel.

Either way, it should be pretty nice. Share pictures when you get it!

I bought one of those from Bud's recently. It was the 4" model. You got a really good price on yours!

I hope your grips look better than the ones that came on mine. You'll be doing well to get the one's pictured. Mine were ill fitted pallet wood looking grips. I fancied the idea of sanding them down, improving the fit and then refinishing them. The project sounded good...but it was so much easier to order a set of Hogues for it and slap them on.

I think you'll like the 57. It has a nice balance and packs well. I'm very pleased with the trigger on mine.

Little Mountain Gun rides well in the Simply Rugged leather I ordered for it. My next project is to plug it.

Hope yours arrives safely. Have you located any ammo for it? DoubleTap.com was were I went...not a ton of other choices in stock right now. I hope to reload for it in the winter after hunting season ends. I have 1,000 swc waiting to be loaded now.

Yes, I reload. Have several thousand bullets, cases, primers and a few pounds of 2400. I also have a New Model BH 4 5/8" in .41.
I sold a 29-2 to finance this gun. Plan to plug it, white outline it and install a partridge with gold bead.
The grips are probably pallet grade. I'll either take the sander to them or order some Hogues.
If you go to the guys website Page 1 , he's got some pretty good deals.
Yea, didn't notice that the stock pic featured a 5/6" bbl gun. WTH, an MG is an MG and he's better than a hunert dollars cheaper than the shops around here.
