360 Price Check
I hate these threads too, but my google skills are coming up short.
360PD with factory Crimson Trace. "Like New" (aren't they all?)
Is $700 a decent price? no additional FFL or shipping fees involved...

Yes, I would buy it. I gave $650 for mine last year (LNIB) and then added the CT's. It's a great daily carry package.
Hope this helps!

Help me out here. 360s cover a bunch of ground. The early ones were 357 with scandium frames and titanium cylinders. Then they made up a bunch of left over experimental frames with scandium, and with titanium cylinders in 38 Special (small window frames.) Then they started making them with Stainless cylinders. Regardless they're all great guns. Just different characteristics for different uses.

If the 360PD has the titanium cylinder, $700 is a great price. Check the fore and aft ends of the cylinder, though, to make sure that they haven't been abused with any abrasive cleaning implements. Apparently, the ends of the cylinder have some type of clearcoat-type coating to protect them from hot gasses, but the coating can be damaged by scrubbing with abrasive materials.

Mr. Burg is absolutely correct about the different variations, although I was under the impression that the version with the blackened stainless cylinder was labled a 360 M&P. Either of these models are still good compact carry choices, some just have a little more punch than others. To be more clear, my earlier response was in regard to a scandium frame, titanium cylinder, .357 magnum with high-viz front sights and I added the crimson trace LG-305's to it. I don't think you can go wrong at $700 for the whole package. I've seen them lately around here pushing $850-900 for the gun alone.

Guess I did OK then . . .
Yesterday I ran across a 360PD Hi-viz with original S&W-marked Bantam grip, box, etc. plus the smaller Crimson Trace laser grips (LG-105?) for $450. Appears in very nice shape. I assume the asking price was a consequence of someone trying it with Magnum loads. We'll see . . .
