Default My Latest Purchase (66-1)

I guess it belongs in this forum since it is not pinned but it is recessed. It is a late 66-1 (99K range).

I picked it up last week and just now had the chance to clean it up some. It was a PD revolver so like most of them it was carried a lot but shot little. Since it had some scratches and marks I went ahead and used some Mother's Mag polish on it. It cleaned up very nice in my opinion. I will probably polish it a little more after I shoot it.

I have some S&W walnut magnas on the way but until then it will wear the goodyears. It has a really smooth trigger and everything else checks out great on it. The only bad thing is somebody polished the trigger so it is smoother and a little bit thinner. They did a good job and I actually kind of like what they did but I might replace the trigger anyway.

Here are a few pics:

Person

I have a no dash 66 with the same grips, they may not look too appealing but for shooting you can't beat the Pachmayrs.
