Ok, S&W customer service advised me by e-mail that the Right Hand Tan Leather Silhouette Holster For N-G Frame Revolver will work with the 627 PC with the 2.625" barrell.

My question is, with the holster pictured at S&W's web site, the molded leather shows indentions for a fluted cylinder; whereas this particular 627 has a non-fluted cylinder.

This is okay? Or did I get bad advice? THANKS!

Yup any of the holsters which show indents for a Fluted cylinder will also do well with the unfluted weapons. As my friend Anton mentioned it will probably be tight for a little while as the leather adjusts. S&W Holsters ... just like their Grips are not made by themselves, but they contract them out. There are also a lot of super holster makers here on the forum & I'd imagine couple will chime in shortly. The Galco & DeSantis holsters/belts are likewise good. i have a DeSantis Left hand,Thumb break, lined, Tan one which my 627 rides in. But the cylinder is fluted. Pictured is a Galco belt & DeSantis Speed Loader pouches. Scout around some before you settle on a particular one. Keep us posted.
