Default 386Sc/S - Keep, shoot, sell?

I got a 386Sc/S in perfect shape with the box and papers a couple of months ago. Now I have a delimma. Should I put it in the safe, sell it, or keep and shoot it? The problem is, it is not nicked up at all, and I hesitate to carry it and scratch it up if it has any collector value. I'm not a trader, so I never buy with intent to resell. I had intended on using it as a winter carry gun. I do like the gun a lot, and it carries easily, but I could sell it and get something cheaper and less collectible. I can't seem to find out if these are rare or not. Any ideas on what to do? Anyone know what they sell for?

Shoot it...that's what it was made for. I don't know how "collectable" it is, so all you'd be doing is depriving yourself of a great gun

Agree, shoot it. I doubt those 386's will ever be collectable. You never know though.

Should you decide to shoot it, let us know how comfortable it is to shoot with magnum loads. Regards 18DAI.

I've got the 386Sc/S myself, had it to the range once and really like it.
You have any ideas where a guy could find a stock holster (leather) to fit it or a custom one that wouldn't take 3 months to get. Thanks

As a bit of a noobie, when I see threads like this one I want to learn what guns are being talked about so I go to Gunbroker for pics and info. I cannot understand what the difference is between two currently for auction. Both NIB and has buy-it-now's priced $350 apart - one at $600 and one at $959. What am I missing?

Items 190713511 and 190572932

And to mysmith: there are 11 holsters for auction if you search "386".

Looks like they are the same gun just one is way over priced.
