Default Endurace package ?

I need some info :-)

I am about to buy a 629 -3 , i learned (here ) that the later 629 have a Endurance package a modification that stopped the cylinder turning backwards after using serious magnum loads......
I wanna know if that's is the case whit this gun....
I cannot open yet but like to know from you guys.
The serial number of the gun is TJA 3611

My other 629 -4 got this modification

Hope you guys can help me.

The 629-3 will handle all the 240 grain bullets you can put down the pipe. The issues prompting the Endurance package were from silhouette shooters sending piles of 300 grain bullets down range at full load. The standard bullets and velocities do not do so much to loosen the gun. Not much the standard .44 Magnum load can't do.

The first Endurance Package modifications were introduced on the 629-2E. The package modifications were finalized with the 629-3 and all subsequent models. I blaze away with full power loads in my 629-3 without issue.
