New 60 -9, what a gun
Finnaly got to shoot my 60 -9 snubbie today. Shot various grained 357's and 38's. This little gun shoots wonderful. The trigger pull with factory installed bobbed hammer is ideal. All in all I am glad I sold the Ruger sp 101 and kept this one. Even with hogue bantam grips I could control it very good. Wanted to put wood grips on it but decided the hogue conceals much better and grips better.

Great gun!!
Good choice!!
My 60-9 came with a nice set of Pachmayer grips!
They are a bit on the large side, but they shoot nice!!

I love my model 60–9 357 also. I got mine when my wife bought it for herself, for her purse, but found it was too heavy to carry around in her purse. She said it was like carrying around a brick so I got her a model 442. I got to keep the model 60. I carry it on my hip a lot. (Probably more than anything else) I used to carry it in my front pocket when wearing dress clothes but it was a bit heavy and flopped around some. I recently traded a seldom carried Kimber Ultra Carry 3” 45 1911 for a model 340SC Scandium Titanium 357 J frame. Now if I pocket carry that is the one.
My 60 gets shot a lot too. I use it for my NRA pistol safety class along with a 4” 686 to show the difference size makes shooting 38, 38+P and full bore 357 Mag.
It has enough weight that most find it ok to shoot, but light enough to see the difference. As you can see it has the Crimson trace grips with the longer grip so you can get 3 fingers on it.
I have yet to find someone who really did not like it with 38 or +P ammo.
I carry it with Speer 357 135gr SB and feel it is up to most any problem I might run into. I’m sure you are going to love yours too.

Very nice J .357 Magnums! I only have a 640-1 in that configuration. I've got my eyes peeled for a 60-9 or a 649-3, NL!

638 with lock. Never has failed over hundreds of rounds. I have never locked it though
I have a walnut boot grip on it know. I carry two different loads. Shot shells and 158 swc, Or cranker from corbon or federal. A very versatile and inexpensive pistol.
