Default 657-3 RSR, with slab sided barrel

What is the approximate value of this ANIB with original papers, S&W rubber grips but no tools?

The box is marked P C special, 6" barrel, RB, Product Code 170062.

All help is appreciated.

Sounds like a Light Weight Hunter? Slab side bbl, ported, non fluted cylinder, grooves along the top for scope bases?

I've seen them from $800-$1200 these past three years. A grand seems to be about average.

Like these??

I've got the three mocels offered in the series, the .41 mag, .44 mag and the .45 Colt .
All three are finely tuned and very accurate. But the .41 mag is REALLY accurate.

IF it IS one of these, and You do pass on it. Get me the info as "Inspector Callahan" has been looking for one of these for some time now.

As Frank said, about an average of $1000 for a 170062 RSR .41 Magnum Hunter.

Thanks folks; Mine is the same as Frank's and looks to be in the same condition. I have been in contact with Inspector Callahan.
