Default Favorite revolver and folding knife

That's it - simple request - your favorite revolver and pocketable knife. My latest of both: a new 2 5/8" PC627 UDR and the Wilson Combat 'StarTac' version of the Chris Reeve Umnumzaan.

Make it an S&W revolver, of course. Thanks!

Funny this thread should come up. One day last week I took a shot of the accouterments I was carrying during the week. The Detective Special is not my favorite revolver, my Model 10 Heavy Barrel still is. The snub works well for pocket carry in mild weather though with light clothing and is carried in a De Santis Nemesis holster.

The little Case Baby Butterbean is a dandy and tough little knife. Its configuration doesn't wear holes in pockets. I had to wipe the blade for the photo. It had previously been used for cutting sheet rock for a kitchen remodel we're undertaking.

The special favorite revolver

Default what happened to that post

where someone asked what gun and folding knife we carried most often. I've looked all over the forum for it but can't seem to find it.
Anyways, I went to all the trouble to take this picture so by heck, i is gonna post it.
That is my ever present 65, a buck 180/ solitaire, and a Schrade Oldtimer. These three are always with me when I am awake.
Does anyone else reading this have one of those Bucks like that? Non serrated blade. I never use it for anything but meat and bone. Mostly a self defense tool. The Oldtimer gets used everyday for everything from opening feed sacks to cutting my steak.
The 65's purpose is obvious I suppose.

Peace,
gordon

I carry a Swiss Army knife, one of the smaller ones. The blades are soft and malleable but I use the tools a lot more than the blades. When I go armed, it's generally a S&W 638-3 that keeps me comapny.

Thread drift ahead! A lot of people don't know this but SAKs use different steels in the same knife depending on the blade. This way you get the optimum tool for its intended use.

Gordon, those are all keepers but I especially like that Schrade. Cool knife...thanks for posting.
