65-3 hammer block?
Does my 65-3 have a hammer block? Meaning do I need to leave a cylinder empty in the event the hammer is struck?
thanks!

Trust me, it has the hammer block. There has never been a need to leave a cylinder empty on a Smith since right after WWII and even before.

Actually, if you want to be sure, take a look. There used to be some gunsmiths and others who thought that it was OK to remove the hammer block.
