Dear Member
You own one of the best Smith and Wesson revolvers ever built, very adecuate for handgun hunting, plincking and precission slow pistol match shooting.
I had one exactly the same as yours which I bought in Buenos Aires to Pedro Worns gun shop during the nineties..
This was an excellente gun,
very accurate at long distances, I shot jackrabits from 50 to 100yds using Remington 38gr JHP golden bullets and with Winchester 40gr copper coated solid point, both Hi Speed ammo.
Up to 50yds after,
at the most, 3 shots I pinned the
running jackrabit!!..and at 100yds
sitting on the floor resting both forearms on my bent knees and back rested on the front wheel of my Ford F-100 truck all that was needed is a
one shot or at the most two shots to get a tasty rabbit stew for dinner!!!!!!!....
At the range offhand using match ammo usualy Federal I could average five shot groups in the 3/4 to 1 1/2 inches!!!!!!!!!!..
Try hangun hunting!!!, you will enjoy it very much!!
Congratulations excellent handgun!!
Best Regards
