I need to purchase a rear sight assembly for an X Frame 500. Are they interchangeable with the newer revolver sights such as Ks, Ls, or Ns?

They all use the same sight, the difference is the blade installed. Just call S&W, 800-331-0852 and order one. They will ask the questions to know which one to send.

That was fast. Thanks for the help. I had a scope on the gun and can not find where I put the rear sight assembly & screws. :/ So I have to find some. Thanks again.

Does anyone make a tritium type night sights for the S&W 500 Magnum 3.5" barrel?
The hiviz fade out in low light like under a dark canopy or late evening...after that, your just guessing. During the day or in good lighting, the hiviz are good sights but they limit it to a daytime carry only.

Not tritium but brighter than factory.

I have these on several X-frames and like them a lot.

Have contacted the company as to which model is the correct one for my S&W 500 Magnum 3.5" barrel.
I love this revolver except for the sights. As I said, they're great durning daylight & in good lighting situations, but suck in dim or very low light. I try to put Tritum sights on my most used handguns & rifles.....but no luck right now on this one. But in time, there will be some for it too. Who knows, In 5-10yrs, we might see an Auto-Targeting system where we just tell it what to shoot?
