Default Good L-Frame Gunsmith?

I want to have a 681 fitted with a 7 shot cylinder. S&W quoted around $250 and nearly 5 months, if they decided to do it. I live in Southern Oregon and I'd prefer a local smith, but I don't mind shipping it off. What would be some good options, especially with a shorter wait time?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt you'll get the work done by a good gunsmith in less than five months. S&W's time estimate is quite reasonable.

Try Andy Horvath in Ohio. You'll have to google him. That job is right up his alley. He has done all of John Taffins work and several jobs for me all of which were exemplary.
