Sweet!

I sold one just like that a while back to another member here on the forum....I love the 657's, but had trouble shooting the longer barrels. I do best with 4 and shorter.

Did it come with those grips or did you put those on?

Looks great!

Thank you all for the nice words,
It was sporting the factory original rubber grips and I replaced them,I'm not a fan of rubber grips. The rubber grips that came on it were the best r-grips I have felt but I like wood.Found these on gone broke.I like the 6" barrels for target work, these revolvers just flat out shoot this my third S&W in .41 Mag.Next one's going to be a 657 3".

Nice 657 and welcome to the .41 mag fan club! That 6" barrel is great for hunting. I now have 4 S&W.41's and need a Mountain Gun in one.

Will your next 657 look like this? If so you will love it!

For target loads I use 4.7gr of Auto Comp or Clays with 215gr SWC.I used Unique for ever and found the A/C and Clays was more accurate and cleaner.More serious loads I like Win. 296 and a hard cast bullet.I just bought 2 custom moulds and will be developing loads for them when they arrive. One is 200 gr.plain base hollow point and the other is 230gr Keith style plain base.
Sporsterguy,
Thats exactly what the next one will be,gorgeous revolver, the epitome of a BBG !(Big Bore Belly Gun).
I have one of the "Classic" 57's as well, I like to shoot but blue guns are a pain to clean.I have no problems with a lock but will always opt for no lock first.

Longranger, do you know who made those grips? They look nice.

Sportsterguy, I like your Perf Center grips; they look good on that .41 mag.
