Default 17-4 8 3/8" non- pinned advice please

Found a Colt trooper Mk III.22 @ 99% 8" barrel blue. no box. Owner is willing to trade straight across for my 17-4 8 3/8" NIB TT,TH,Target grips non-pinned model. I have had a vintage George Lawrence calf skin lined.flap holster for years. Maroon basket weave ,rawhide lacing on the edge. looks to be a one of/custom, garage sale find for $10. It's a real beauty and would fit the D frame Trooper perfectly. One of those " it's so nice/I'll never see another deals one can't pass up(glad i didn't).even if I don't have anything blue that goes bang that fits at the time. Trade? yes or no? Trooper .22's are really scarce at the local shows of late. Tough to get top cash for the 17-4, even NIB it seems. And I want a shooter,I have enough NIB "safe queens"

Thanks in advance
Ischia
