Default ? on rate of twist in a 629-1

Hi guys,
Anyone tell me what the rate of twist is in an 8 3/8" 629-1?

Working with a new reloader and building and teaching at the same time. So the more info, the better.

So far I've got him starting with Unique and 2400. That's to cover a number of handguns, from .380 thru .44 mags.

For now he's only built .44 mag loads with a 240 LSW with both powders.
Although, I've also thrown a couple of Bullseye starter loads in, just to let him see how it all works. Gonna also put up a couple of starter Trail Boss and 231 loads, just to show him the variations available to reloaders. Not to mention the value of experimenting. Not seriously gonna load with Bullseye or 231, but again, it's part of the learning to reload curve.

Thanks,

All center-fire S&W revolvers, regardless of caliber have a twist rate of 1:18 3/4". 1:20 is Ruger and probably others.
