Arrow Police Trade-In Revolvers

I was curious if anyone knew where you can still find Police trade-in revolvers for a decent price. I've seen some DOA Model 64s at J&G GunSales website but was wondering if you guys hand any other sources.

I am looking to find a Model 10 (64, 13 or 65) hopefully with a 5 or 6 inch barrel (but a 4" could work.)

Also, I need it by Christmas as a gift for my mother (former LEO), who had the gun she carried on duty for years stolen from her vehicle several years ago.

(She has other guns now BUT really wishes she had one like her old service revolver.) I think it would be a nice surprise.

Thanks for the help.

The only thing I find on gunbroker.com usually overpriced. I see the same people relisting the same guns over and over. I will checkout Summit.

Default Summit

These are a catch as catch can proposition as the supply seems to be drying up.

Mark at Summit may be able to help. He recently hooked me up with this 15-5 that's cleaned up pretty well. Did a bit of work on it and now its a great shooter.

For a 5 or 6" barrel, you will want to focus on the tapered barrel model 10s, as there were no model 10 heavy barrels, 13s or 64s from the factory in those lengths.

Mark at Summit Gun Broker has sold me several used revolvers. He will provide you with an accurate description and a fair price.

Firearms, Guns, Rifles. Grain Valley, Missouri.

re: "as there were no model 10 heavy barrels,"

I bought a well used police turn-in HB 4" m10 (-3 IIFC) from a dealer in Wa. who advertised here about a year ago.

It appears to be all factory and dates from early 70s.

Cosmetically it's been around. I was going to touch it up but it's smooth as glass action is perfect as is. Got a great price on it too.

I also have a 4" HB that I got from JG that was in very decent condition. However, I think Murphydog was referring to 5 or 6" not being offered in HB.

GT Distributors has amazing prices on some of their guns. I'm pretty sure they have deals on police trade-ins of various guns from time to time.

Check them out.
