3 inch model 65 Price check
Hello everyone. I need a price check on a 3 inch model 65 with a bobbed hammer. I searched around some, but couldn't find anything really up to date on here and I know some of the gunbroker dealers smoke crack before pricing some stuff. So I just need a up to date, straight answer price. Thanks.

Prices on the 3 inch stuff has really gone up as of late....well everything has gone up, but the 3 inch K's and N's are really up. I have seen several sell for 400-550 depending on the condition. There are some folks who are getting over 600 for one in the box, in 'like new' condition.
Post some photos if you get it! The 3 inch 65 is one of my favorites and there are many here who will agree that it is one of the finest carry guns that you can find.
Good luck.

It depends, if you are looking for an original gun it will be worth less to you because I don't think the factory bobbed the hammer. If you don't care and it is otherwise cosmetically and mechanically sound, call it $450 and up.

I'm more conservative on this. I'll assume this modified gun (bobbed hammer) also has no box and, playing the odds, non-original grips. Assuming sound condition about $325-350 would be a fair price but no more than $400.

There were a few bobbed-hammer 65s w/3-inch barrels for the U. S. Customs Service; might be one of those!

My LGS has a few of them; some police trade-ins. He's pretty high; asking $550 for 'em, IIRC. I do believe that he must have read-up on them. They're great CCW's, but at that price I think that they will be around for a while. -S2

I agree, picked this one up (with goodyears) earlier this year for $300 from a pawn shop.
