Question Product codes

I am trying to confirm a product code on a pottential revolver I may buy. I have the product code from the 2nd edition of S&W Revolvers (Supica) book.
Where would this code be on the box tag? Because the product code # on the box tag does not match the Supica code....

Very minor changes can change the sku#. You can call S&W customer service with the serial number and they can usually tell you the sku#. As long as the box serial number matches the gun, and it has the features you want I wouldn't get too hung up on the sku#.
