Default Model 60 with adjustable sights.

Just picked up my model 60 with adjustable sights. ( Ashland gun) LNIB!
I decided to carry it sometimes off duty . Very handy little pistol.

I need to know if I can use std belt holster for model 60.
I also need RB S&W combat grips for it .
It does not fit my Galco holster. I hope there is a holster for it .

Due to the tall front sight, a holster for a 2" model 34 .22 Kit Gun may fit it.

I carry my 60, 3" in an OWB Bianchi Black Widow. Nice high ride, but not too high, thumb break and being a "slide" type holster it straddles that 3:00 belt loop for perfect, consistant placement on my side. Life is good....

I have carried my M60-4 (3") in a UM Super Belt Slide, and also their kydex holster for the 2" gun.

Great little guns. I almost traded my .38 Spl for the .357 version but finally kept the old one. The DA on it was far superior.

I carry my Model 60-4 in a 3" holster from DeSantis for a SP101.

If you have the 2 inch adj. sighted model then the 34-1 is for you.

Here is the problem. What I have is a model 60-1 TWO inch with adjustable sights. ( Ashland run of only 660 guns)

Normal Galco holster that I have to carry my 640 DOES NOT WORK. Front sight and rear sight get in the way.

I need a good leather CCW style belt holster for it , or I will have to put it back in the box and sell it. I want to be able to carry this one. I know it is rare, but I did not buy it just to look at it .
I have not had any luck yet. The front sight is too tall

Here's mine --- I bought it new in 85 or 86.

I carry it in this Bianchi molded holster --- fits fine.

If no one has a holster made for the .22 Kit Gun, you may need a custom holster. Ask at LoboLeather or El Paso Saddlery.

I'm not certain if that tall front sight is even the same as on the Kit Gun.

Nice little J-frame. I bought one last year, they are good conversation pieces. They only made a small number of them, I read 666, but they show up quite often.
