My new 386NG is going to be used as a defensive weapon. I want to lessen the DA trigger pull. I my shooting at the range will be DA practicing for deadly encounters.
Is there any danger on reliability of the gun if I have the pull lightened and who do you recommend doing the job?
Clark custom does what they call a service job. They are very good. I have a couple of them myself. Or you could just change the trigger return spring, I recommend a 14 lb. spring for a self defense gun. (stock is 18lb.) It will make a noticeable different.
I have a 327 Night Guard and I did the trigger job myself. It came out nice. I have had no issues. If you want someone to do the job for you then Revolver King is correct in recommending Clark Custom.
