Default 66 f comp question

guys,
my dealer has a 66 f comp that i am thinking about trading for.it is like new. i did some research on here. and i think it is one of 300 guns made. but i dont know for sure.
its a 66-6 3 inch with comp in front of sight.
if anyone knows moore history,i sure would appreciate it.allen frame has one pictured in his beautifull lineup of 66 3 inch guns.

I think they did 2 runs, 1 pre-lock and the other with IL.

What's his price?

I have one. My fired case is dated 2003. Not sure how many they made, but these do have the internal lock. It comes with the PC aluminum case, hogue grip, wood grips, lock, and paperwork.

From what I've read, the 66-3 w/o IL had an initial run of 300, but don't know if that was all they made.

A new PC 66-6 w/case, both grips and paperwork just sold on GB for $1276.

That was in September. Since then one has sold for $900, and another repeatedly listed at $800 with a reserve has not sold.
