Good luck on the holster search and post pictures when you spring her. Heck, post pictures when you find a holster too, can't have too many pictures of guns and gun stuff.
I've been looking at that gun on the website, if anything could seduce me to the modern S&W line, that gun is it.

I shoot revolver in USPSA and IDPA....My 25-2 rides in a De Santis OWB holster and my K/L frames are in either a DeSantis or more often than not a Kramer OWB. As far as pouches, I use standard HKS speedloader pouches for my mooncliped .45 ACP's and my HKS speedloaders. I did not see a reason to purchase some of the belt clips I have seen as I already had the HKS pouches and they work very well for me. Might work well for you also.
I you don't find what you need or want try Ray at Lobogunleather and have him build you something. Ray is also a forum member.

Thanks "growr" but this is a .45acp gun that takes Moon clips, and unless I can find a Open top leather holster I am going to stick with Kydex of some sort, Some of the leather ones run some major Change on the wallet...and it is a "N" framed gun...

I am fully aware of the moon clips as my 25-2 (which is an N frame and a predecessor to the 625) uses them.
In my response I was perhaps not so clear in that I use both K/L frame and N frames in USPSA/IDPA depending on what I am shooting. The 25-2 is used in USPSA and my K/L frame's are used in IDPA as I don't have a short enough barrel on my 25-2 to be IDPA legal whereas I am in USPSA.
If you are looking for a great open top, OWB, N frame holster I'd suggest looking at the Kramer. Might work for you as well....Shoot straight.

I will start shooting my 625 in IDPA within the next few months (as soon as I can work up a load I like). I am going to use:
Holster: Ready Tactical for N-Frame (I assume the PC 625 will fit, not sure).
Moonclip holders: This is IDPA legal and holds 2 North Mountain. I plan to use a single moonclip holder (probably this one CALIFORNIA COMP. WORKS : "SHOOT A MOON" CLIP - World's Largest Supplier of Firearm Accessories, Gun Parts and Gunsmithing Tools) on my weak side. I intend to try doing "weak hand" reloads.
This is a pretty common "rig" around here since the North Mountain holder was determined to be IDPA legal.

cyberiad, Do you have a link to the High Ready holster you mentioned? The sites I found did not have anything for an N frame. Must be doing something wrong.
thanks!

The Blade-Tech Sting Ray Kydex holster is very good. It's IDPA legal, and it can be adjusted to work well in USPSA as well. I have a 4" 625 for IDPA, and I use a 5" 625 in USPSA, and have Sting Ray's for each. I used to use a Safariland Cup Challenge II for USPSA, but the Sting Ray is almost as fast and much more secure.

I also use a Sting Ray for USPSA Single Stack.

I bought the K-Frame Ready Tactical from Chris Patty Ready Tactical (it's about half way down the page or so) and I'll buy the N-Frame holster from him as well. I have at least 5 Stingrays for semi-autos but all the revolver shooters I know who tried both the Blade-Tech and Ready Tactical revolver holsters prefer Ready Tac by far and that's the main reason I bought it. Chris ships fast and his shipping charge is very reasonable.

Kool.!
Thanks Gents, Thats what I was hunting for, I looked all over the Blade Tech site and never even saw that model,i really would like to get a Paddle type, but didn't see one And "growr" sorry about that, when i went to your link all i saw was speed loaders for like .38 twist drop in guns, didn't see full moonclip models, must have not look well enough.Ooops.!...saw those metal style holders in the Blue Press Dillon book, but didn't know if anybody had any feed back on them, I am now leaning to the Ready Tac holster or the Comp-tac..but will have to call Jenny to see what the turn around wait time is....Thanks Sir's
