Default Cleaning a Matte Black Finish?

Hello everyone. I just ordered a 386 NightGuard and although I will not get it for a few days I was curious if anyone was willing to share their experience cleaning a gun with the matte black finish.

I have a stainless steel and a nickel plated Smith but this finish will be new to me... I wanted to make sure I do not use anything that will affect the finish while I clean it. Any suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 25-7 with a matte black finish. I use Hoppe's #9 on it as I do all my guns. It works just fine and doesn't harm the finish. I also use nylon bristled brushes for the really hard to reach areas, also with no problems.
