Default swapping barrels on J frame

is it be possible to put a barrel off of a 340 or 360 on a 442?
if so is this something a DIYer can do?

IMHO its something better left to a gunsmith.
Although it might be possable its usually not as practicle as selling or trading the gun and getting the one you really want.

Not adviseable. Even the factory does not like removing and re-installing barrels on Airweights due to the high chance of cracking the frame.

Not a DIY project -- It's full of pitfalls even with the best tools
