I would like to get some idea of the average price for a 3" 65-5 Lady Smith. It's used, but in good shape. Thanks.

GB lists one for 525 right now, it mainly depends on condition, I would not go that high.

I recently paid $475.00 for one in LNIB condition, with all the paperwork. And I think I got a fair deal.
Take care,
Bob S.

I passed on a 65-5LS in a local shop priced $465, I went back 3 days later and it was gone.

There hard to come by, and highly desirable. I've seen two in very nice shape in the $550.00+ range without box, tools or papers. I'd love to find one at a great price...that model is #2 on my grail gun list behind a Model 610. My main problem is I'm very selective (yeah, a cheapskate) and looking for a good to great deal.
Regards,
Dave

Call John over at Robertson Trading Post I can not
oversell their service and products.
My 3" 65-5 was marked as Very Good to Excellent. Turned out to be a Brand New N.C.DOC trade-in for semis.
Told John his price was too low; he just said,
Enjoy and we appreciate the business.

I would guess right around $500 with all the goodies. Maybe a little more if it's like new, or a little less if it's well used. Good luck.

I just bought one only a few rounds fired....a 65-5 LADY SMITH.. thing looks mint! pd $400...from what I have seen and heard...I got very lucky! now after using the gun I would have gladly paid much more! it is the perfect carry gun for me! best trigger I have ever felt on a stock gun too.

Well, I really appreciate all the advice on price range for the 65-5 LS. I have purchased it for what seems to be an average price for this model and will wait for it to arrive at my ffl. Mabey I can go to the range next week and try it out. I will try to take a pic or two and share with the group. Thanks again....cb22

I got my M65-5LS about 3 years ago for $375.00. No box or papers. Since then the LS and the plain -5's have gone up. I was on Gunsamerica the other night and a dealer had a 65-5LS new in case at $1,100,00!!! Belive it or not it was marked Sale Pending. I was a bit taken back by that.

Here is a picture of the 65-5 before I received it. I have cleaned it up and took it to the range yesterday. I started around 7pm and finished up around 10pm. We turned the lights on at the range after dark and shot bowling pins from the 50 yard line. What a fun revolver. I was using some old 148 grain .38 wad cutters I have had for a while. This will be a keeper. Thanks for the advice....cb22
