Default Saw a fascinating 657-3 today.

I stopped by a local shop today and found a 6.5 in. unfluted full lug 657-3.

The julian date was 8 034 which would be February 3rd,1998.
It is a round butt with serrated grip frame.

But here is the unusual part, the hammer is forged with firing pin,
but the trigger is m.i.m..

It's in the box, fired and dirty, but otherwise unmolested.

I already have 3 very desirable 41 magnum Smiths and surely dont need another, but this beast is beautiful.

If I can get it for $600. o.t.d. and trade a knife or two towards it tomorrow I guess I will.
If not, I will pass the info along to someone who can appreciate it.
It is here in South Florida.

One way or another, one of us has got to own this gun.
It should be a fantastic shooter and handsome to boot.

Regards
Allen Frame
