Default Model 34 veteran

This is my Model 34 that I have had for 35 years or close thereabouts. I bought it NIB in the very early 80's or late 70's. It has been so long I can't remember. I have carried it many miles and many places and it has never let me down. It sure shows its mileage but I took it out today and shot it about 100 rounds and it just keeps on shooting a fine as ever. I thought about maybe sending it back to the mothership for a rejuvenation but then I would probably just put more wear on it. Great little revolver that you can carry all day and never notice it is there until you want it.

Not real pretty anymore but it has a lot of memories attached.

That deserves to be left alone as to sending it back the mother ship. Keep on using it and wipe it down every now and then. It is getting a great patina, don't ruin it. Just my humble opinion.....

Just keep it clean and lubricated and it should be fine for another 20-30 years, then maybe have someone open it up for a good internal cleaning and lube job, then it should be good for another 40-50 years.
