Purchased a new 625-8 J M model, Picked it up friday shot it sunday for a total of 52 rounds then the cylinder would not lock into the frame, no debris, minor powder resuidue, any of you fellow shooters had a problem like this.
Hopefully it is just the ejector rod unscrewed a bit, see if it's loose, if so tighten it and presto your in buisness. To prevent this, if it was your problem is to remove it and apply a drop of blue Loc Tight to the threads and reassemble. Hope this helps.
A friend got a new 625 from the performance center that had the strain screw backed out two turns and would not fire in double action. They don't always get things tight. Hope you find something simple that will get you going again.
