Great revolver and pics. Looks fantastic and you don't need no stinking box with a beauty like that! Hated nickel guns when I was younger but love em now. Finish holds up much better than blue and classier than a stainless unless you polish one up. I have your -3 and going to hang onto it. Just love them K frame snubs! Perfect balance and darn accurate to boot. If I were limited to one revolver it would be my 3" 66-2 or my 2.5" 66-2 or the 19-3. Any of the 3 would get the job done from shooting a rabbit up to an elk with the right round. Also one of the best carry weapons ever to leave the factory for protecting one'self.
Here's my -3. Guys are probably getting tired of it and my other pics. Need to take fresh ones. Wish you could take it's pic as I suck taking them!
My 3" 66-2. Polished it up a bit. Don't have a pic of the 2.5 but they look pretty much the same. The 3" is a bit more accurate, but I've owned and been shooting it since 85, so the triggers a bit smoother. Best $275.00 I ever spent on a S&W. Used to nail milk jugs with it from 100 yards off hand on a regular basis. Them days are gone thank to the eyes going south. Still would have someone dancing with it though from that distance !
Congrats on that 19. Keep it! Do Not Sell or Trade it as you'll regret it within 2 minutes.

Don't tell the guy who thinks no K frame is worth more than $300 or so. He'll faint when he hears what a beauty like that sells for these days.
Next gun show, tell DanT you bought it, but without a box. He may find you one!

Was on a mission on Saturday. I waived as I went back and forth. By 10:30 I could barely see him!
Talked with him today some. Stopped by with my Dad. He sold his Colt 3rd gen Officers Model Target in .22cal today. Dan wiped it down for him when we first got there.
Dan's like the Welcome Wagon for OCGA. I always ask him if you'd been there yet and he always says you were just here and all I feel is the breeze! I think I agree with Lee, we don't think you really exist!

Beautiful M19 and great looking pics. Like Iggy said, "not too bad for second choice"! I agree. I have a M19-3 that I have had for several years. Took the original stocks off, and put some rosewood magnas on it. It looks good to me. I do not have the skills in picture taking that you do rags, but here is mine.

Beautiful. That's why I wish I could've kept my OGCA membership active. Well, I could've, but my work schedule permitted me to maybe make one show a year. Which is a cryin' shame, 'cause I'm about ten minutes from Robert's Centre. Sigh.

I agree w/ 410bore. That would suck. I'm 20 minutes away and feel very fortunate to be able to go both days, if I feel the need.
All the other " shows" that are around here, pale in comparison. I know other States have some really BIG and excellent shows, but if it would cost me the value of a Model 27-2 3 1/2" to get there, in Hotel, Food, and Gas, I may not make it!

Beautiful 19, Bob.
Nickel isn't easy to photgraph and you did a fine job.
It isn't P&R but at least it isn't a dreaded Bangor Punta. They had poor quality control, don' 'cha know.

Funny you should mention that Chris, as I'm finding out most of my S&W's were made during that period. No wonder I had no trouble buying them.

Funny, I just bought a 2-1/2" 19-5 Nickel about three hours ago here in Virginia.
Mine is almost as clean as yours. Mine just has a turn line on it. Also I notice that yours has the red front sight insert which mine does not. That is a nice feature. I paid 550$ for mine. I think that this is a little high for around here. But you do not see a lot of them. My serial # is ACM88XX.
Enjoy yours.

Beautiful. Nothing better than a 2.5" 357 K-frame. I love carrying my 66-1 2.5". Congrats now go shoot it.
