I think that is an excellent price for that gun. It appears to be in fantastic condition.

Shipping date was 1971-1973 on SN range M30,001-M60,000.

$400 is OK for that gun. Congrats on a very fine revolver!

I agree that that is a very good price for that condition, with box, paper & tools. If you like factory grips, I believe that you will be much happier with the square-butt revolver that you bought than with a round butt. You may want to add a Tyler. However, if bulk is not an issue, it won't cost you any more to get a Pachmayr Presentation grip instead of a Tyler, and you will have an even better handle on things.

Nice find!

I've owned a round butt version of your gun for 39 yrs. It is my favorite .22 handgun. It has been an accurate range gun and a great woods carry gun. You paid a very fair price. Enjoy its company.

That is at least a $600 gun in my area, and the usual "ask" by the seller is at least $650. You not only got a good price, you got a fantastic price.

Nice acquisition, tcolo!
My 34-1 is a great little popper for plate shooting.
I bet you'll love yours too. Another thing to be Thankful for this Thanksgiving!

Hi and welcome to the forum!

Several years ago, before the chaos, I paid $450 for my 34-1, 4", without box, etc. At that time, $500 would have been the 'good' price for one with the box etc.

So +1 on VM for the "$100 discount" - exactly in my book.

Also, this tells us that the prices have, or, in some cases are, returning to the pre-chaos levels.

Again, Welcome to the forum!

Oh, and congratulations on realizing you have to post pics or, as they say: it didn't happen!

I found my M34-1 sn102XX in a Pawnshop several years ago. Unfortunately the seller knew what he had and I paid $550 for mine. Not as accurate as my Model17, but still fun to shoot.
