If shoes make the man... grips make the 63!
I got my second set of S&W '60 Pro' grips in and put them on my 5' 63. One word for looks - and fit - and function:
WOW!
Of course, if shoes do make the man... I must be a bum - all my money goes into grips! Okay, these were bargains - $43 + s/t + s/h (The invoice says #41174 0000 but I thought they were 41147 0000!). Great fit - to the revolver and my hand. They help with the massive recoil, too (TIC).

Now I really like those. I got these for mine and really am not all that taken with them for what is probably the obvious reason.
Are those on the S&W web site for sale?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...nn/Smtih63.jpg (Christmas gift from my parents, the gun, not the grip)
(If anyone can't figure out why I'm not all that fond of my grip choice, just post here and I'm sure a few hundred well meaning members will help ya out )
How would I go about getting a sert of those? I looked on the S&W site and don't see them anywhere.

Stainz, Beautiful guns and great photos. I'm waiting for my new Pro grips from S&W any day now. Will go on my 5 inch 63 so thanks for this picture so I can know in advance what she will look like!

Joni, I'm not sure, but I think you just might get arrested for doing that to a Smith & Wesson.

Gang,
The 60 Pro (SKU 178013) comes with those grips - and they are not on S&W's site. My latest set has a shipping list indicating they are #41174 0000 while I thought they were 41147 0000. Dyslexia for cure is a there. They were $43 from S&W Accessories (1-800-337-0852 #2905).
Of course, re-arrange the numbers - 41417 0000 - and you'll get my RB N-frame 2 5/8" PC627 UDR's new grips, as seen on a nearby thread. Another bargain from S&W - $48 - and not on their website!

PS Joni - thanks - pink grips - now I have Pepsi Max in my nose & on my keyboardddddddddddddddddddddddddd

I like the HiViz in almost any light, but the iridescent nature of the PC627 UDR's orange ramp makes it stand out even better in real low light - I guess it is my new favorite. Either seems better, to me, in low light than the H3 Night Guard front sight on my new 60 Pro. It isn't defective - I compared it with several of the recent 'Night Guard' series. The Tritium sight just doesn't do it for me... maybe in pitch black, but how would you discern your target?

It's okay, I was just kidding. If I were serious there would be no doubt of it. Besides, how can anyone take pink grips seriously?
