Help w/ 586-2 manufacture date.

Can anybody help me with a manufacture date for a model 586-2?

serial number BAE46xx

Appears to be after January 1988, but before July 1988. The 586-2 Started in 1987 and the 586-3 began sometime in 1988.

If you call S&W with the serial number they can give you the year over the phone,sometimes the month,too.
